    Steve fuckin' Cunningham!

He was losing the battle of the jabs and being outboxed by a blown up cruiserweight. Fury hasn't fought another top heavyweight either. Cunningham might actually be his best win and he was losing that fight.

It will be very telling on 28th November who is the better boxer, I have no doubt about that. All Fury has to go off is him outworking Wlad. He doesn't have the boxing ability or the punching power and he's far too sloppy and careless to last the distance.
i think your missing the key part here:

he only won because of illegal forearms/punch

his best win should be a DQ

    • Fury did foul his way to victory.

Cunningham is a good fighter and multiple time champ though.

      Fury is a proper underdog.

He could pull it off, doe.

With regards to my wording, you're a journalist right?
Because it's literally the only time Fury has fought like that for 5 years. He was 23-24 years old. His uncle wasn't with him, he went into the ring totally unfocused on the job at hand which was easy for everyone to see.

But that fight doesn't reflect how he fights.

I have no problems with your wording, but mentioning that he was losing on the cards is just strange. If Cunningham had gotten up from that last punch Fury would have been drawing two cards and winning one. It's not as if he was getting schooled and found a lucky punch, he was clearly winning the fight.

Pfft, pull your tongue out of his arse, he's so boring and he's a nailed on try-hard, trying to be funny and it just comes off as cringy! I cringed the whole way through that video. As soon as Fury beats this boring stiff idiot i hope he retires...**** the rematch.

            • A few years ago I give Fury no chance but now he is focused, has improved his skills, can fight in both stances & is very big. This is no gimme in my opinion. I still don't give Fury much chance but Wlad is 39 & if Fury catches him you never know...

                • If people think Fury is going to go charging into Wlad with his hands at his waist and his chin in the air like he did against Cunningham; I suggest they watch some of Fury's recent fights.

He's a more polished and refined boxer now and doesn't go looking for a tear up.

I have no idea why people keep bringing up the Cunningham fight tbh. It's like bringing up Wlad's Brewster or Sanders fights. Has no relevance on how they fight now.

No one's forgetting that he was knocked down by Steve Cunningham FFS. It's been brought up about fifty million times since this thread began and debunked just as often before your tedious ass happened to bring it up yet again. Simply put: Fury fought recklessly, got caught, and went down. It's a mistake he hasn't come close to making since then, and frankly if he's ****** enough to fight Wlad the same way then he deserves to get knocked out because he's way better than that.

Is Wlad going to go all out, blow his load in the fifth, go into a panic attack and get knocked out like he did against Brewster? No, obviously he isn't. So credit Fury with the same sense not to fight like a complete buffoon.

True. I swear, if one person brings up the Cunningham fight again I'm going to go on a red k rampage. There's obviously huge criticisms that can be drawn from that fight, but the fact that Fury totally reinvented his style and completely dominated his last two opponents at range is far more pertinent to the way he's going to go into this fight. I've never blamed Wlad for the Purrity stoppage, understanding that he was a young man and young men often get overeager and make mistakes. The same consideration should be applied to Fury, only in his case he was still able to win the fight, which is the real lesson that should be taken from that fight.

I understand it's the last time Fury truly looked vulnerable, and is therefore going to be brought up as a point of criticism and ridicule by those looking to downgrade Tyson, but at this point it has about as much pertinence as Wlad's losses to 'fat golfer' Sanders and 'sprung like a dawg' Brewster. It's fine for a chuckle at the fighter's expense but doesn't have any bearing on how the actual fight is going to play out in the here and now. Wlad isn't going to go all guns blazing and gas himself out and Fury isn't going to fight like a sloppy caveman with his hands at his sides and his chin in the air. Maybe it'd be a better fight if they did, but that's unlikely how it's going to play out.
