People love to bring up the fact that if Cunningham was able to drop Fury then Wlad could surely knock him out. Might I mention that this was the same reasoning in the lead up to the Haye fight, where most everyone picking Wlad was picking him by knockout, because Haye of course had a terrible chin and was dropped by Lolenga Mock and Monte Barrett. Needless to say, it didn't work out that way, even though Wlad managed to get a number of good shots in on Haye's china chin.

Fury's the next in line to supposedly experience the treatment. Maybe he will, maybe he won't. But it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Fury takes a flush right hand from Wlad without getting dropped. Plenty of other fighters did.
"Wlad hits harder as in punch for punch" F. Roach ,when asked who hit harder Wlad or Tyson,Roach worked with both at one point .

You are confusing someone who plays it safe and someone whos aggressive and forces a k.o .His k.o percentage doesnt lie ...Foreman couldn't k.o little J.Y oung ,Tyson couldn't k.o Tillis what difference does it make other that Jennings was never k.od.

I don't really get how people can say Vlad is a counter puncher (Elroy) or that Vlad was a terminator when guys attacked when precident suggests that Vlad does neither. I have never seen Vlad counter punch and the Sam Peter fight could in many ways be compared to Briggs. I honestly don't see it. Why didn't he jump on Sam Peter?
Vitali pummled him into oblivion, try again and that was a bigger Briggs .I dont know if hes a counter puncher thats term that could be used anywhere bc of diffent types .Wlad k.os guys usually that he doesnt chase ,i support that aggressive fighters get k.od against him usually .

I agree that Wlad doesn't possess the earth shattering punching power that some claim he has. Opponents like TOS, Haye, Iggy,Janitor J etc before the fights were thought of as being chinny, weak and otherwise vulnerable. You made a good point on Haye regarding this. Fury's chin is not as much of a question mark going in as some of those guys but you have the same cast of characters predictably and without a shred of irony claiming it will end in a quick knockout.

I will maintain however that a main contributing factor for the sudden lack of power is that Wlad can only land effectively when the opponents stand flat footed right in front of him. He needs to plant his feet to land his jab, straight right and lead hook. That's why he can be made to look so devastating against these cement booted journeymen like Austin, Pulev, Leapai etc but look so poor against guys who can move a little bit. Still in many cases he's forced to wear these mediocrities into exhaustion until they just stand right in front of him. A prime example being when it took him 12 rounds of stiff arming and headlocking a fat blown up CW in Chambers until he was completely worn down and knackered before he could finally land the coup de grace sucker punch.

LOL You are really a hate filled moron aren't you!!

The guys number 1 power ranking in the world can't be disputed, seriously!

Nobody on Earth possesses more raw punching power who can land it more cleanly and frequently.

            Simple as that!

And no, you can't punish Wladimir for boxing responsibly. That's why he has the ultimate record isn't it!

You would complain no matter what he did.

Whilst you may disagree Wlad isn't an eart shattering puncher he was voted not only best boxer but best puncher in the heavies in Ring magazine.

Whether you accept it or not is insignificant, but the fact is the majority polled Wlad as the biggest puncher in the division.
