IF ALL the rounds are close then there will be scorecards that can be close or differ

Scorecards will be close or have a Huge margin of disparity if every round is close. If some rounds were easily won by a fighter and the other rounds easily won by the other then it is just a matter of who won more rounds. I thought Lara vs Canelo was the kind of fight that had more close rounds than not. Lara vs Paul Williams was one of the worst decisions ever. Also I remember Bernard Hopkins nephew or some relative of Hopkins getting a decision in which he CLEARLY LOST that fight.

All I have to say is me being Hispanic I look at boxing totally different. And I think ALOT of Hispanics/latinos do also then the rest of the world. To me the guy coming forward pressing the fight, looking for the fight is the one winning the rounds. I mean if the other guy is not doing anything to stop you from coming forward, then he's really not scaring you or stopping you from trying to attack. then how are you losing the fight? IF you're in the street and you keep coming forward and not taking any damage, I don't think you're losing the fight in anybody's eyes right? So maybe with a last name like Martinez. Maybe that's why he scored the fight the way he did. When I scored the fight the first time I had it 9-3 for Canelo. Watching it a 3rd time I had it 7-5 for Canelo. So ya the RIGHT GUY WON PERIOD

I have said this in another post and I will reiterate it once more,for me their is more controversy surrounding the 115 card for Lara than the 117 card for Canelo.

If anyone should be investigated it should be the other judge,a truly shameful card,he like some of these so called fans have no place in the sport.

Real fight fans should salute Teddy for bringing up the atrocity of the 117-11 scorecard. And yes, Martinez should NEVER be allowed to judge a fight again.

I sincerely hope more boxing commentators and scribes bring up this subject more often... and make a BIG deal out of it. Boxing is broken. Comments like Teddy's help make boxing improve.

Lara took two of the first four rounds then gave up thereafter,no controversy,no atrocity.he simply gave up,you don't win a boxing fight when your heart isn't in it.
