IF ALL the rounds are close then there will be scorecards that can be close or differ
Scorecards will be close or have a Huge margin of disparity if every round is close. If some rounds were easily won by a fighter and the other rounds easily won by the other then it is just a matter of who won more rounds. I thought Lara vs Canelo was the kind of fight that had more close rounds than not. Lara vs Paul Williams was one of the worst decisions ever. Also I remember Bernard Hopkins nephew or some relative of Hopkins getting a decision in which he CLEARLY LOST that fight.
