Kirkland is entertaining against other limited brawlers. Against Canelo he is going to get his ass kicked. He has no chance. I don't see how that's entertaining.

Against Canelo he would be throwing BOMBS unless or until he gets caught but every second of the fight would be a barnburner. It's not about whether Kirkland gets his ass kicked, it's about both guys laying everything out on the table, no matter how long it lasts. If it was just about knowing who would win, then we could just do matchups on paper and video games and wouldn't need boxing. Canelo would be fending off a freight train. And Kirkland showed he can be hurt and come back. Just ask Angulo. There is not a single true fan that wouldn't consider a fight with Canelo vs Kirkland a war as long as it lasts and wars are sheer entertainment.

Andrade fight does more for Canelo's developing but perhaps not his hype.
