At first that was my idea but alot of fighters have bad hands , and it might force them to retire. Giving them extra padding seems sensible.

Every single person here crying about madainas choice of gloves never had an issue with it until floyd started crying about it just recently.. Now, seeing the way they were in a competitive fight.. he's milking the glove issue to make Maidana use more padded gloves now that he's tasted the "power"..

If it's not specified in the contract, the gloves are not illegal in the state, and the commission approves them let the man fight with the gloves he wants. End of story. Those three are the important factors involved. If they were illegal in that state and not approved by the commission i'd see a problem.

The glove situation in boxing needs to be fixed. Im not saying he wrong to want to use gloves that are approved by the commission, but that the whole situation needs to be properly investigated by the commission.
