Speaking of gloves:

Floyd wears the "Pillow Gloves" because of his damaged hands. If those gloves supposedly take away so much from a fighter's power, doesn't that mean that Floyd's power is affected by them as well? NOT supporting the whole glove issue, Maidana should be able to wear whatever and I don't think it would change the outcome of the fight. But I wonder if Floyd's shots would be more damaging if he used "Non pillow gloves".

Ok, not a fan of either guy, but can somebody explain why does a guy whos gonna have a 20-25 pound weight advantage is b1tching about some gloves. . judging from the first fight, the only clean blows he connected were rabbit punches so why so much crying . . Maidana needs to be more concerned with whos gonna be the referee, because he was supposed to be DQ'd after round 1 when he landed 14 rabbit punches (i counted) so the gloves should be the least of his worries, if its kenny bayless hes gettin DQ'd for sure.

Did the commission approve Marg's wraps, Shanes peds, or did they know Panama Luis removed padding from Restos gloves?

Chino's gloves came packed and was approved by the commission. The only reason the first pair were denied was because they were custom gloves that came in a different color. Had nothing to do with the padding or lack there of. They contained the same amount of padding as the second pair of gloves that the commission approved.

Sorry, the color of the gloves had nothing to do with it:
