    Regarding balance, prime Pacquiao had superb balance imo.
    I think in most instances defense is learned, but some fighters seem to also possess a sort of innate ability to sense when a punch is about to be thrown and are able to sense danger before actually seeing the punch. I don't know how to define it. It's like a 6th sense or something.

          Manny Pac is the most gifted.

          Foot and hand Speed/power, dynamic punching ability athleticism.
          At his peak he was an absolute freak of nature.

          It will be a very long time till we get to see someone with that gift.

                  How about James Toney, guy had defense and offense plus he fought competitive bouts past his prime. Towards the end of his career he hardly trained and still gave most guys a run for their money while looking like a tub of goo.
