Why should Ward have even been responding to Golovkin's callout earlier last year? He was just a random 160 pounder and wasn't very known. What would have been the point of that fight? That would have been one hell of a cherry pick on Ward's part. Now that he's name has been built up a bit up and has all this hype around him, of course Ward is interested now. And now that Golovkin is more famous himself, of course he's going to be more risk adversed and back peddle his Ward callout.

No, he is ducking. . Hes the one who brought this on himself saying he will take on anyone from 154-168 , so maybe he and his team should think before they speak. . i still dont get the hype on ggg, them saying geale is a bigger fight than ward is bull****, if he beats ward he would get the biggest stripe ever as far as respect , i still view ggg as all hype until he takes on ward. . He wrote a check with his mouth and his ass couldnt cash it

I don't even care about ward at this point. He's boring, thinks he's a ppv star and hasn't has a meaningful fight in like 2 yrs.

His best fight right now is probably rematching Carl Froch overseas.. which shouldn't be a issue cause he makes everyone fight him in Oakland.

Golovkin fears no one, fights he doesn't get are because he simply isn't the most lucrative oppoenent, his opponents fear him, or they are uninterested in fighting. Don't get it twisted. Not every fight that doesn't happen is for ducking reasons.

No true boxing fan believe GGG is ducking. Ward is a very talented fighter, but it's a lot like Rigo as far as selling goes. What makes ward worse is that he wants the lion share in all his fights even though he's not deserving. I could argue that ward is the one ducking. Ward has dominated 168 and has nothing else to prove there. Why not move up? There's kovalev, Stevenson and b hop to name a few who would make for very intriguing fights with good paydays. Dude is way over due for weight change. Change weight and take Danny garcia with you who also has nothing to prove at 140 but Is scared on the 147 pounders

GGG has been middleweight champ for like 4 years now.... 168 is only 8 lbs from 160.... What is the problem? GGG reminds me of luis "yuri boy" campas. 56W-0L 50kos and got ko'd by trinidad, oh and "noone" wanted to fight campas at that time too.
