If he wins convincingly than the fight with Ward would be a no brainer. Ward needs to get his contract settled and back in the ring. But any boxing fan would pay to see that fight. Loeffler is bull****ting saying that this fight is not a money fight. Lets see it

whose the one in hiding and semi-retired? it certainly isn't golovkin.
ward following the floyd gameplan, which is to go on "retirement" when people ask you to fight dangerous fights.

i think one thing we can all agree if were being 100% truthful whether you like ward or not that he just cant catch a break. To a big extent hes to good for his won good. No one wants to fight him which in return makes it to where he cant get meaningful fights and in return means down time which makes getting a fan base tough. And he is with a promoter that cant raise his profile to make things worse he will probably be stuck with him. One day ward will get lucky and get that big fight

I would just say.... WArd has to wait his turn.. GGG is also 33 years old.. he isn't no prospect.. his level of competition is still a little suspect...Last edited by chepe009; 07-17-2014, 03:16 PM.

Diff is Chavez comes with ppv and career high payday, ward does not. Like Floyd always says, this is a business. If a fight doesn't make sense financially, why take it. If HBO offers 2 mils to fight Stevens and 2.2 mils to fight ward, without a doubt I will pick Stevens. None of the top fighters are scared to fight, just has to financially makes sense. People said Floyd was scared of canelo. After they offered him a career best payday, he went on to school the young boy.
