Boring. What's the point? Strip Maidana of any advantages and then act as if stopping him is a great achievement. Same thing that happened with Hatton. They will take the play away from Maidana by not letting him get close and rough Floyd up. I didn't realize how much the first fight affected Floyd.

Yea, pretty much how I see it. If maidana is gonna be overly physical it can't be blatant fouls. That was coming inevitably. He got away with a lot in the last fight, eyes were gonna be on him. Now its up to him to adjust and do his dirty work in a legal way, at which point it should be allowed.

Now you see what I meant when I wrote here that Mayweather Jr. is killing the sport (just days following the gloves gate). Until then there existed some sort of suspense, but now it vanished. You'll get "canned fights" only.
