"Its fair to say arum didnt want the fight, not before not now. But pac wants the fight, before and now."
I hear this kinda talk all the time. Arum don't want it, but manny wants it, but Manny re-signs with Arum. Koncz says it won't be Algeri, Arum says it will, and now it will be Algeri. Floyd can't negotiate with Koncz, and he tried that. Arum runs Manny, and Manny is happy with that, maybe so he can pass the blame to Arum.
"Anyway, i believe pacs counter offer was fair at that time and reasonable if mayweathers thinks hes really gonna win."
I'm glad you used the word counter-offer. That's the answer to my initial question. Floyd has made the offers...twice. Pac has said no...twice. If you think 50/50, or 40/40 is a fair offer to the biggest draw, P4P, best fighter on the planet, then why is 50/50, or 40/40, not a fair offer to make to JMM who actually has 1 draw, and 1 KO against Manny already. Last but not least, maybe this article may help you with the money split issue:
"Although the documents do not disclose revenue also generated from pay-per-view upside, it's extremely doubtful that Pacquiao is getting significantly more than Mayweather in that department, especially considering that they both do similar numbers and in Pacquiao's case, Top Rank retains 27.5%. While I personally believe the subject of a 50/50 split is irrelevant, mainly because Bob Arum was never interested in staging the fight on May 5 to begin with, given those numbers, it's understandable why Mayweather might allegedly inform Pacquiao that a $40 million guarantee would be significantly more money than he's been currently making."
