And you know what else played into that? Tim actually thought he won the first fight. He thought (even after Ruslan crushed him in Ruslan's 1st fight at WW) that he was a legit top 3 P4P boxing champion.

he made 6 mil because he got the w in the 1st fight and was close to becoming a free agent when he was negotiating for the rematch. so arum paid him much more than he is worth.

If cotto rematches Floyd-he'll double that. Cotto made far more in with Floyd than he did with Manny. Every fighter who has fought both since 2007 has made more with Floyd, except JMM for the 4th fight. every fighter, beginning with ODH, that has fought Floyd has made their highest payday up to that point in their career.

Same can be said for PAC. Every fighters that has faced him made more than they ever had. Even algieri will see a career high pay day.

What do you make of that article that goes out of its way to implicate Floyd Mayweather as a PED user without actually saying it?

That has been the rumor for a long time but I need to see proof before I accuse somebody of something so serious. What is fact, however, is that the settlement in the Pacquiao/Mayweather lawsuit happened after the Pacquiao camp tried to get Mayweather's USADA testing records. So maybe where there is smoke there is fire.

This all could have been settled with a teaspoon of blood, or Manny should have suggested a different testing agency if he had su****ions about USADA. However he didn't. He only asked for a window of NO TESTING. I've seen where fighters have asked for both agencies, i.e. Donaire vs. Rigondeaux. That would have solved the problem too. But to say i'm moving on to Clottey because I can't get a window of non-testing makes him forever look suspect. To wait until you're KO'd by JMM to become a proponent of VADA testing is also a day late and 100 million dollars short. Thanks again for the link!

tim, rios, JMM 4 (not 3) made there most with Manny. Had they fought Floyd, they'd have made more, just like every fighter who has fought both.

This is just his new catchphrase to go along with his other stock lines he uses in every interview. He said Khan has Garcia problems now this one.

Man, i like watching Floyd fight but he does himself no favours. You'd think if he has the so called best team in boxing then someone like his publicist must be able to tell him when he is being a complete hypocrite and really making himself look dumb.

By his theory, everyone with a loss is not worth fighting....unless it's the guy he's fighting. Completely bizarre way of thinking and it essentially just makes people not warm to him and makes people start to dislike him. He only has himself to blame for people calling him a coward or ducker by the things he says, even if he isn't any of those things.
