Mayweather turned down Cotto saying he lived too far??? Really? From what i rememeber Arum didnt want the fight saying Cotto was too green after Floyd beat Gatti... and im a huge Cotto fan.

$40 million would be Pacquiaos career high payday.... Pacquiao taking a percentage split.. with Arum taking his cut would be less than $40 million.. you do know that Arum gives Manny advances on his fights.. so technically.. Manny owes Arum money.

40m is not apples to apples since Arum would get cut out of the promotion and would need to get his. For Pac it would amount to a small raise over his purses for Jmm and Bradley. Thats one pathetic offer for a fight of this scale

Golden Boy would pay Arum to be out of the promotion of the fight and even let him hang his banners in the arena... they would even let him get his usual complimentary tickets.. they just didnt want him to have anything to do wit the promotion... Mannys $40 million was all his.. no Arum cut since he was paid to step aside. those are the real facts

So your saying Floyd ducked Margarito? When? After losing to Daniel Santos? Paul Williams? Or when Arum offered him 8,000,000 and Floyd beat the champ at 147 back then, for $8,000,001 just to show Arum up?
