Who are these people? People wanted to see Canelo vs. Trout because Trout earned it by beating Cotto. People wanted to see Canelo vs. Lara because Lara earned it by beating Trout and Angulo. It has nothing to do with their styles.

man, you so called boxing "fans" make me sick. one of the best fights of the years between two of the best boxers on the planet and all I keep hearing is how one guy is hyped, the other wasn't good enough or that it was all fixed, in the mean time degrading two of the best names in the 154lb division.

At the end of the day, we had a real back and forth affair, and the stats on who press row thought won is almost 50/50, it goes to show you how close this was. Canelo showed he could take a fight hard into the latter rounds whereas Lara showed that he had the skill to outbox Canelo but not the will to out fight him. This was a great struggle, one of the top 10 best fights this year...sadly this site is full of fighter fans rather than fight fans.
