Winner of Porter/Brook faces Khan, then the winner of that gets a shot at Mayweather.

No it's a game of who's balls are bigger. Diaz was a seasoned vet. He had a draw with Shawn porter. He pushed Khan to the limit and dropped him. Keith Thurman fights the same man and stops him in 3 with a body shot. You already read what Julio Diaz said about Thurman. I think that makes Thurman a very worthy opponent for Khan.Comment

Enough with this "balls" nonsense. Khan has shown plenty times that he has balls. Of course Thurman wants to fight everybody.....because he's a nobody! He needs to make a name for himself.

WELL FIGHT THURMAN! Beating the guy that everybody is allegedly Ducking in the Welterweight Division would make a huge splash would it not. According to boxrec which a lot of people on this forum love to go by, Thurman and Khan are rated about the same in the Welterweight Division:
He did not even want to fight Robert Guerrero from what Guerrero is saying.
Sorry but Khan is not going to get rewarded for what he did at 140 in the 147 Division.
So, since it came out of Guerrero's mouth we should all believe it because anyone that goes against Khan is correct right?
Irrelevant. Guerrero is suing GBP. Fight couldn***39;t happen anyway. "@abomba22: Guerrero actually excepted a fight & Khan turned it down?"

Back before Floyd Mayweather fought Marcos Maidana this past May, there had been a poll up on his website asking fans who they’d like to see him face — Maidana or Amir Khan.
Mayweather chose Maidana, won a decision and is fighting him again in a rematch this September. The pound-for-pound king spoke with a small group of reporters on July 14, and one reporter asked Mayweather would be facing Khan this fall instead had it not been for Khan saying he couldn’t fight this September due to the fasting done for the holiday of Ramadan for several weeks during which a training camp would’ve been held.

Why should Khan fight Thurman when he can get Porter-Brook winner for a title? Guerrero or even a Maidana rematch in December.

Ask Floyd. If Khan's such an easy fight, why not just beat him to shut him and his fans up? I'm sure it would post good PPV & arena sales. Not that I'm even a big fan of Khan's, but I think he would give Floyd trouble and Floyd knows it. Hence this latest slew of creative excuses to not fight him.Last edited by SUBZER0ED; 07-16-2014, 01:53 PM.Comment

I'm not saying Thurman isn't a very good fighter, I like him as a fighter. I'm saying Khan has better options.

Amir Khan needs to land a solid WW in December. Porter-Brook winner for the title is the perfect fight especially if Kell Brook somehow upsets Porter. Having the belt just makes an air tight case for Khan ADD on top the fact he can sell and is a big name, which I know a lot of people have a hard time getting over.Comment
