That's just the type of double standards I was complaining about Saturday night, it's just like these fools on NSB to do that.

But I don't see it being easy for Floyd at all.

          Difference between Floyd and Lara......

In that fight Lara didn't sit down on many punches at all, landed a **** ton of jabs, and few really telling power shots while eating body shots.

Floyd though Maidana did get the best of him the first 5 rounds where I had Maidana up 4-1, didn't really touch Floyd too much the last 7 rounds of the fight. And Floyd without question landed more power punches and eye catching shots than Lara did.

The fact that people try to say there's a double standard to score Floyd-Maidana for Floyd, I had it 115-113 Floyd and like 80% of the press scores were for Floyd, and scoring Canelo-Lara for Canelo......tells me they didn't watch both fights without obvious bias going on. I'm not even a fan of Canelo, and I scored it 115-114 Canelo, and the press scoes confirm it was a close fight where a little bit more felt Canelo won.

There is a difference in the way Floyd and Lara defend. Floyd can make you miss and roll punches right in front of you, at times using lateral movement to get away.

Lara's defense is usually all in his movement. You don't really see him make people miss and slip punches right in front of a guy

And there's a difference in the offense from what Lara did last weekend and what Floyd does

Even Floyd knows you need to throw meaningful power shots and engage when the opponent is making the entire fight. Maidana was making the fight, but Floyd threw tons of power punches still, and landed way more power shots than Lara did.

To me the double standard isn't relected with who you scored the fight for, the double standard to me is saying one fighter runs in one fight, and in another fight another fighter does essentially the same thing, and it gets called good ring generalship. Without getting into other details of who is throwing what shots while in movement and when, that's just plain double standards because the reasoning and the footwork used are the same.

Not really because Lara moved much more against Canelo in comparison to Floyd against Maidana.

They're two competely different fights and four completed different styles.
