I said Floyd saw an opportunity to punk Maidana and he did. That's just my opinion. Floyd could've let Maidana use the approved MX gloves but he didn't. As far as the video goes I think Schaefer was saying what Garcia and Maidanas team were saying. I don't know if that's what the commission said. I'm sure Floyd's team would say they were rejected for a different reason. But they were rejected. Mayweather also uses his particular pair of gloves with extra padding so he won't hurt his fists when he is punching.

Each one has a reason to use their own set of gloves and to fight at their best.
