The problem is that in order for Lara to do what people expected him to do, he would have had to stand in the pocket just a few moments more. As he learned throughout the course of the fight, staying in the pocket or along the ropes for any amount of time came at the expense of body shots. Those shots took a toll on him in the middle rounds. No one anywhere on this planet reasonably expected Canelo to take command of the middle rounds, yet that's exactly what he did.
Ultimately, deep inside I think I DO want to see a rematch. But I don't care for the build up, the press conferences; none of that. I don't want to hear a word from Lara this time around. He talked so much ****, yet delivered a flat performance.
