DeCubas wrote a check that Lara couldn't cash. The Mayweather strategy, but not enough skill to make it work the right way. Lara lost. Plain and simple. Clearly the judge that had such a wide margin scored it too widely but he was still right.

he's suppose to say those things. if canelo was paying him to be his manager he would be saying the same thing in canelo's favor.

The motherfucker gave practically every other round to Canelo, but gave an obvious Alvarez round to Lara. Nope, nothing wrong with that picture.

Although I thought Lara won, I can see a close decision for Canelo. But no way on God's green earth was that a 117-111 fight. And if the score is that bizarre, the next natural question is, why? It just so happens that's exactly what the Nevada Athletic Commission is asking that "judge" right now. Imagine that.

I didnt watch the fight, but judging by the comments I would have no clue as to what happened or who actually won. You are all so biased and such pathetic fanboys cant even give a person an honest idea of what actually happened.

This is true. But it so happens what DeCubas said is also true. Disagree?

STFU Mr. "I'll have no sympathy for Lara if he doesn't fight to the standards that a big PPV fight demands". All that talk about you having "no sympathy" for Lara if he doesn't fight with more urgency. He fought worse than he's capable of and you damn well know it. That's why he lost. Lara has himself to blame. The opportunity was in front of him and he was afraid to seize it.

You flip-flop a$$ Lara fans are f**king pieces of s**t.

That judge had everything ready , he would give it to Canelo even if he was tkoed . Ja .
Oscar and Canelo should give a rematch to Lara since they know he beat him and there is a lot of controversy out there . But de la Hoya didn't want the fight and he won't give it to Lara again cause he knows Canelo will be beat again .

Boxing is corrupt . That judge should be banned .
Hope Canelo makes a call again and fight Lara , to make all clear without doubts . Just hope .
If he wasn't for that judge , de la Hoya would be back in his house , avoiding reality , doing ? You know what I mean .

Hey Canelo , show it was not a fluke and call for a rematch .
Hit and not get hit , swim and not get wet . :

All it takes is one judge bro. Levi Martinez was the hired assassin in this one.

People are rejoicing the "pleasing" style Canelo brought forth. It makes them happy. It's clear as day Lara outboxed Canelo and it doesn't take a genius to see that.
In the end it's about entertaining the dumb masses, not about living up to the sport's integrity.
