Will Alvarez Continue To Get Better?

He did learn to keep throwing body shots no matter what but honestly he is too slow for the likes of Floyd or Lara. Lara was outhustling him, and he could not find him half the time. He learned something but not enough to get a clear victory over Lara in most fans eyes

I think Canelo can beat Andrate who is slower and less skilled than Lara and he would trade with Canelo instead of hit and run like hell.

I like Andrade much better than Lara. Lara is more skilled? meaning he moves (runs) more and some people equate that with being a skilled fighter. I think Andrade has a lot more in his arsenal than Lara. I would like to see Andrade and Lara next. I would completely favor Andrade.

Canelo can improve, meaning he can finish off guys better. But if a guy just wants to survive, which I think was in the forefront of Lara's thinking, he won't look any better.

I didn't see any improvement in him vs Lara. He showed New things vs Trout but after that he's been the same boxer-puncher with really good combinations. His defense vs Lara was awful and he was very inaccurate even when Lara was right in front of him. He's also a bit predictable when frustrated. He is a beast tho, his combinations are a thing of beauty but I honestly think he's peaked skill wise.

I guess it does sound like I hate Canelo. It's not that. I want him to get better I just don't think he really has yet. By better I mean an elite fighter. He is not there and last night proved it. I think Mexico is starving for another Julio Cesar Chavez and they want to anoint Alvarez so bad with this moniker that they are overlooking the fact he is just a B+ fighter at best.
