Of course he will get better. I think he is the youngest or one of the youngest top fighters in boxing today and not quite 24 years old. He is completely dedicated to training and learning and becoming the best boxer he can be.

Any fighter can get better, I expect him to improve mentally and through experience, but I don't think he will change stylistically much at all, it remains to be seen.

Either way, compared to how NSB slobs on his knob, he is madly overrated and overhyped.

I definitely liked the improvement I saw last night. You could see the frustration on his face but then decided to apply some pressure and those body shots were a nice touch. You can't blame him for the judges or oscar for that reason, he comes to fight and I truly believe that he wants to keep fighting the best out there, and at 23, that's not a bad thing at all. Gotta give him props for taking this fight and not agreeing to fight the salkas of the world (anymore)

Canelo is barely in his prime @ 24 yrs old give him another year or two and I'm sure he'll get the proper respect he deserves.

I would like to see him trained by Roach or Natcho but he seems very loyal to the guys he has always been with.

I think canelo has reached his peak..

he is a good puncher but doesnt possess the tito trinidad type power..

His main issue was stamina, and pacing himself, and i think in the trout, floyd fights he really learned, and really showed in the lara fight...
Canelo 2 years ago would have been spanked late by lara, but you can tell that canelo is mature and can handle 12 rounds with movers since he has had the floyd, and trout fights..

I really dont see him improving that much anymore, i think he has peaked

Considering he didn't even train hard for this fight and was running his camp yet still defeated a good boxer like Lara what happens if he actually started to take this serious.

I think Canelo can beat Andrate who is slower and less skilled than Lara and he would trade with Canelo instead of hit and run like hell.

Im sure he will, hes still only 23. And he has alot of experience already. Hes already at the top of his weight class now.

His biggest problem is his foot speed is lacking. He needs to learn how to cut off the ring against guys. That was key last night and he didnt do it.
