cant give lara either of the championship rounds.he didnt even attempt to close the show.was content just circle the ring as if he had a huge lead.just a ****ty perfomance

How was it live, bro? Tell us a little about your experience.

Oh I had a blast. Obviously the fans were 99% for Canelo and hated the amount of moving Lara was doing. Casamayor stole the show ringside. He was waiving the Cuban flag and trolling the Mexican fans all night. I sat next to some MGM regulars and they had never seen Lara fight. They were actually impressed and said he wasn't doing ENOUGH moving. Lol.

One thing about Canelo, those body shots echo throughout the arena. Lara must have some steel ribs. Laras punches were pretty solid too though especially that 1-2 combo.

In the end I promised myself I would score the fight myself, be content with it and walk out before the decision was announced and that's exactly what I did. The fans surrounding me were nervous. I think because of Lara's style he didn't get much sympathy.

There were a number of close rounds and for me, rounds 5-6-7 could have went either way. Canelo looked like he was going to win but Lara did enough to win the last three rounds.

Canelo clearly won the last 2 rounds, Lara clearly won the 10th round.

The 12th was one of Canelo's better displays of body punching, Lara looked sluggish and completely out of it. Round 11, Lara being too negative and content with touching as oppose to sitting down on his punches all while Canelo again continued to dig into the body. In the slow motion replay he landed a right hand I thought missed, that just reassured me he won the round.

Pretty easy to score.

it's basically impossible to score a fight this close to a degree of certainty without an HD feed. you can get an idea, but you really can't tell how effective the punches are to the degree that you need to to score such a close fight.



at the very least, it was close. a close fight isn't a robbery. if you want to cry about something, you cry about the wide card, not the decision itself going to alvarez.

If he was corrupt and not incompetent and that was his intention he failed miserably twice because that score sticks out like a sore thumb .

Nah if you are corrupt that's exactly how you do it because if Lara gets 2 knock downs on the 11th then u failed at giving canelo the fight potentially
