Ten guys in line & he couldn't name anyone besides Cotto. Oscar is a disgrace 2 boxing and a crook so is Levi Martinez. Lara out boxed Canelo. How is it possible to win when only landing 9 jabs & 2 punches to the head in 12 rounds

Lara's stock dropped way lower than Canelo's, but Nelo's stock dropped too. He showed that he is not elite/top boxer because he can't deal with different styles and on top of that he needs to have phoney judges..Like I said before this fight, with the open scoring with Trout and the extremely bogus draw against Floyd, Lara can't win without a knockout. 177-110 lets get real here. Nelo said he will stay at 154 his entire career even though he's too big for that weight so tell me who's going to keep paying to watch him when he ain't that good to begin with and you HAVE to knock him out??

Canelo should fight Kirkland next though, he needs an action packed fight after this one.
Sure it goes down because he "officially" beat Lara in the same manner as Bradley first beating Pac.. Lara has himself to blame, but only for not recognizing that the deck is already stacked against him.. Lara's fights with Angulo and Williams were great fights because they knew how to cut off the ring and force an action packed fight; Canelo does not and unless he moves up and takes on bigger, dangerous fights than his future as a ppv star looks dim to me..

Fck Lara. He stunk up the joint, he kept talking about he's not a Golden Boy fighter after this fight, and now they're begging for a rematch? F him and the horse he came on, if I never have to see him run another marathon, it wouldn't be a loss to me.

When you stink out the joint and NOT win, do NOT expect a rematch.

Al Haymon has so many fighters that they have to hire a "co-manager" because they're being neglected by the man taking 25% of their purse

Haymon is good for boxing doe

I agree Canelo is not that great has some serious flaws, needs new trainers. But at the end of the day it's about money and Canelo brings that and builds other fighters that would not get exposer in his undercards. Bottom line Lara tried to fight like ivan calderon, mayweather and rigo but failed. I mean it's a fight Lara should have won, but people fail to realize that Lara had no choice but to fight this way because he knows he would have got koed. Ethier way very disappointed in Lara

I lost $300.00 believing that Lara was going to do what he kept repeating (now we know that the Cuban or his pupeteer only has a big mouth). I am totally disappointed because by running so much Lara looked like he was in survival mode most of the fight. I was thinking during this fight that if I was a judge I would be thinking that Canelo's body punches were so effective making Lara to backpedal scared of receiving more. There is a lot o subjective judging in boxing and the worst thing a boxer can do is to give the impression of being afraid or in survival mode and it is a matter of perception for judges to believe it. Lara ended up paying for his big inactivity offensively speaking and his exaggerated way of running to stay away from Canelo's punches. I guess Lara could continue being jealous and envious of what Alvarez do while still thinking that his amateur pedigree and amateur style is enough to win big fights.
