It sure wasn't to make Canelo more stronger but to do the opposite. Lara would beat Floyd just my opinion . Floyd takes fights he knows he can win if he doubts than he ask for catch weights to drain a fighter or ask for pillow gloves to zap power away from the power puncher Did Duran Leonard Hearns ever ask for catch weights when they fought for the 154 and 160 pound titles ? Mayweather has become a joke with his demands he sounded like a crying bytch when facing Madaina over the glove issue
So if Cotto would've been the full 147, you think he would've beat Manny? If Oscar would've been at 154, he would've beat Manny? And if Mosely was the same weight as when he fought Margarito, he would've beat Manny too? Opponents choose to fight at catchweights at their own peril. I don't like catchweights either, but if you judge one fighter by a rule, you have to apply the rule across the board. I would like to see Mayweather fight Canelo in a rematch at the full 154, just like he fought Cotto at the full 154.

All I gotta say is Canelo won the fight last night. That judge that had it 117 to 111 that was ridiculous. One more thing Lara's manager better watch it going at Hoya the way he did or Lara will be fighting on ESPN or Uni Mas.

Fack outta here with a re-match. I am not interested in watching some dude who ran so much he nearly fell out of the ring once (when he slipped). That's not boxing to me.

Lara has an amazing skill set, but he is more entertaining outside the ring than inside.

It turned out ugly. For me it could've gone either way, Alvarez got the W that's ok, if Lara would have won that would've been fine by me too, no arguments from me as I had it pretty much a draw. I do respect Lara, I wish him well its that DeCubas cat I cant stomach, just want to punch him square in that frog face, but Lara is cool with me. Peace to my Mexicans & my Cuban brothers
