As bad as Canelo looked IMO, Lara didn't throw enough. If he just upped his punch output a bit more, he probably wins



That said, I think Lara is/was just a tad bit overrated on here as well.

Rounds 10 & 11 was too, agree?
Forget the swing rounds and tell me how most of these scorecards I am seeing are even possible when one fighter won AT LEAST 5 clear cut rounds.

You might think each elbow punch and a swipe of thin air overrules 3 or 4 clean headshots, I assure you it doesn't.

My point was showing how NSB changes on a weekly basis and just spouts any old sh(t to suit their agenda.

One week their favourite fighter/one they have money on won because the other was running and he landed the harder shots.
The next week they've bet against a runner so change their criteria to he landed the harder shots and pressed - despite being outboxed to ****.

The only people who had Canelo winning are Floyd fans thinking it'll somehow make Floyds win look better or Mexicans who are blinded by country of origin.

Why can't you guys just not mock judges when you are as incompetent as they are and are incapable of keeping it remotely neutral?

Yes, if we ignore everything else and just focus on the numbers.

But if we look at the subjective aesthetics of both fights, it's comparing apples to oranges. Lara didn't land anything remotely close to as effective as Lama did to Russel.
