Canelos a mediocre fighter. True "hypejob," IMO

Great Resume for a 23-24(?) year old. Twice he's rose to the occasion and fought guys who many thought were a bad style match-up for him, and he beat them. A mediocre fighter loses against his last four opponents.

Man this place is full of ****, there's no room for competitive fights. You either dominate or your a bum. The kid is all hype yet he fought the best in his last 4 fights winning 3 of those fights agaisnt quality opponents. The robbery claims are hilarious doe he's a hypejob.

He's probably got the best JMW resume around right now. Trout and Lara were the #1 guys there basically or one of the top 2 there. And Angulo was a Top 10 guy. Lara and Trout were guys he was supposed to avoid and never fight, and then get schooled by.

They were close fights but he beat them. And he's still only 23. I might just become a fan because of all the blatant bias hate coming from you guys.

He is no hypejob didn't gas either.He did better than expected, but that is it no Canelo fans other than him and his mom openly saying he won the fight. That fight was a draw for Canelo best case scenario for him . But we don't live there now do we.

His résumé/record is severely inflated.


If he fights guys the level of Lara and above the rest of his career, and not old brawlers like Angulo. He can lose 4 in a row easily

Who the hell wouldn't lose to 2 of the best fighters in the past decade.. Losing to Hopkins and ward doesn't make you a hype job

He has yet to dominate any top fighter. Trout fight very close and if it wasn't for the kd it would have been a draw IMO and he lost to Lara IMO, 7-5. Plus angulo was a shot fighter and not to mention extremely basic and limited.

He will lose bad against the guys at his real weight class (middleweight).

Who dominates top fighters,, there is about 5 guys in the entire world that dominate top level guys consistently ie Floyd, ward, rigo, manny, wlad at heavy..

Bradley, jmm, cotto, froch, and many more world class fighters haven't dominated another top fighter...

I can see how canelo isn't a p4p guy, but he def isn't a hype job, he has proven he belongs at the world class level

I just don't think Trout is that good. And Canelo barely beat him. Angulo is and old, shot brawler and he was punxhing air most of the night against Lara
