Definitely agree, this shouldn’t be a controversial fight at all, Kirkland will be a very live underdog in this fight.

Folks keep bringing up Kirkland being stopped but he's only been stopped once and it happened to be after a layoff due to a stint in jail. In boxing **** happens doesn't mean he's shot though. Kirkland looked like his usual self in his last fight where he ate some heavy punches and kept on pushing. I'd give him a decent chance against anyone long as he has Anne Wolfe in his corner!!!!

It wouldn't be the least bit dangerous. Alvarez in 2.

Depends on who's stronger. The stronger fighter wins by knock out

              I think it would.

Kirkland would be the hardest puncher he's fought so far, if his chin can hold up it will be very interesting and entertaining.

Kirkland is a hard puncher and would make for a live underdog in this fight. And if Canelo looks impressive in an exciting fight, it sets up Cotto very nicely for next year, God knows Cotto needs all the help he can shifting PPVs.

If this fight happens, Canelo has been taking off all my guys lately.
But it's all good, he lost to your main crush

The time is right for Cotto v Canelo, no need for this Kirkland fight next. I think he gets more out of an Andrade fight anyway, a title and development.

Kirkland would be a very dangerous fight, and if they want to keep putting Canelo on PPV, Goldenboy is going to need to bring the excitement.

Only problem with this fight is, Kirkland might knock Canelo out in 5 rounds.
This ain't PPV material and especially for $69.99

It more PPV material for the casuals over a Lara fight, If can wins in exciting fashion which I don’t think he would, the hype behind Cotto/Canelo would be huge, right now, after a very close win against Trout, a loss to Mayweather, and dominant win over zombie Angulo, and a controversial win against Lara, Canelo could use an action packed, competitive, but clear win.
