This is the perfect fight for Canelo to have after that aesthetically displeasing fight for the fans he just had.

Kirkland would be a very dangerous fight, and if they want to keep putting Canelo on PPV, Goldenboy is going to need to bring the excitement.

Only problem with this fight is, Kirkland might knock Canelo out in 5 rounds.

Canelo-Kirkland is probably next to create some more hype for Canelo-Cotto. That megafight will be bigger if Canelo looks spectacular which he didn't tonight. He didn't look bad, but he didn't look great either. Canelo-Cotto could happen in December and nobody would really complain about it, but from a business standpoint it might make sense to have Canelo take one more action-fight to get the casual fans buzzing.
