Weren't those all after the fact? Didn't Floyd raise some noise and threatened to cancel the fight, had the commission look at them again and then they still got approved.....all before the fight happened?


So if he makes a huge deal out of it, has everyone check it again.... and they still say it's okay.....

Floyd has bad hands. He has had bad hands for a long time. He needs to wear gloves that have the maximum padding to protect them. He can't use punchers gloves because he would likely have trouble finishing the fight due to damage and pain. Because he can't use punchers gloves he insists that punchers who normally do can't use them and wear the same gloves he does. Basically...he is forcing Maidana to compensate for his weakness even though his gloves are legal to use in the sport. Because his opponents stand to make their largest paydays against him they cave into whatever he wants or he won't fight them. That's the simple explanation.
