I hope the bold was deliberate on your part, Son. Because I don't take sides here.

cmon on you know better than that bruh bruh
Margarito's padding was not snuck into the wrapping. They were put there while his trainer was wrapping his hands, which was not witnessed by the commission representative as required or Mosley's trainer as required. The commission rep let them get away with this (and got fired as a result), but Mosley's trainer demanded that they be rewrapped in front of him. That is when the cheating was caught.

As far as Resto's gloves, from the time they were approved by the commission to the time that he entered the ring, they should have never been out of the sight of the commission representative. The commission failed to do its job properly in both of these cases therefore, the commission is at fault.

As for Mosley's drug use, you are right. The commission did it's job correctly, just as it did when it came to the fourth Pac/Marquez fight, but that didn't stop people like you from *****..ing and whining about the need for PED testing when you had no use for them before Pac was KO'd. The commission failed to do its job after a JCC Jr. fight in Texas a few years ago when it failed to do a post-fight drug test on Jr.

The question is, if the commission does its job correctly 50 percent of the time, should a fight trust the commission 100 percent of the time? The answer is HELL NO! I would have done the same thing Mayweather did because if the commission screwed things up the first time, why the hell should you trust it to do things right the second time?

Clearly Mayweather approval is much more important in Larry's eyes than any commission.

if floyd played baseball and was a pitcher the batter would have to use a foam bat instead of a wood bad because once someone cheated! this prevents anyone from cheating or from having a chance to win. floyd self regulates! commision didn't catch a cheater once its useless. police didn't catch a criminal once lets get rid of them.

if htey were, everlast was in on it. those gloves came right from teh factory.

the comission gets the gloves from the factor, and they maintain custody of them. the only people who touch them are the fighters and their teams when the gloves are chosen on fight week. several versions of the same glove will come in, and the fighters and their opponents test them to see if they're ok.

the comission recieved a set of everlast MX gloves. they're the same as any other MX glove, only they had argie colors painted on them. they were legal for the fight, and they were the glove he was allowed to use in teh contract. they are "commission approved," and follow the commission's standards.

team mayweather held out to put chino into a different make of everlast gloves. it was a blatantly underhanded move designed to get an advantage. his regular gloves would have made a difference in such a high contact fight.

i'll be referring to it as glovegate for as long as i live.

                  Glovegate, I like that,

Four instances across three decades of boxing and 1000's of fights makes up %50 of the times the commision has screwed up?

I think Larry is implying that a perfectly legal pair of gloves is illegal and looking at extreme cases where the "commission approved" and they got it wrong. Even though, from what I remember, they didn't approve any of those cases.....
