Berto has not been the same fighter since Ortiz took him down. He may never be more than a gatekeeper now.

Soto Karass is a gatekeeper and Andre lost handily to him. I like Berto and will always enjoy his fights but was never able to fix his weaknesses and as he has aged and stepped up in competition those weaknesses have become quite apparent to the point where I am not sure who he beats in the 10-12 at 147-154.

I would like to see him fight Josesito Lopez at 147. I think that would be a solid fight for both guys.
