I've always wondered if the Mtagwa fight is what really hurt JuanMa long-term. Everyone thinks of Salido as the guy that ruined him, and I don't disagree, but that Mtagwa fight almost killed Lopez. JuanMa showed amazing heart. He was never the same after that. I wonder if Salido would've done what he did if it wasn't for Mtagwa.

Man Gamboa proved even when he was out of his league that he is still a top fighter.. Why on earth does anybody think Juanma has any sort of chance against Gamboa?? Every fighter Juanma just named will decapitate him

Gamboa shocked and impressed me with how good he looked in an outmatched fight. He's still a force. Yuri might be tops at 130. Very dangerous fight for JuanMa at this stage of his career.
