How was the turn out at the Arena? They did a $h1tty promotion...

To my eye, the turnout looked decent. The American Airlines Arena holds almost 20,000 people, so it's easy to look empty if you have half that. I understand the count was 4,500. So, in an absolute sense, those aren't bad numbers. When you consider the fact that the promotion was amateurish garbage, the event was on a Thursday night and the card didn't feature any big names, it was a pretty damn good turnout.

If they got a card together with maybe Rigo and Gamboa, promote it properly and hold it on a Saturday night, I'd say 10,000 people show up, eeeaaaasy. That bullshit about Cubans not supporting their fighters and Miami not being a good place to host a fight card is exactly that...bullshit.

I am not all that impressed by Barthelemy. Seems to do the basics well but doesn't excel in any one particular area. Good fighter but an ordinary and basic one and pretty poor considering his pedigree
