Barthelemy beat Usmanee. I watched that fight again and scored it. Rances won by one point, in my opinion. (An opinion I'm far from alone in, by the way.) Very close fight where both men showed a lot of heart.

Farenas looked good in beating Davis last week. Michael does punch hard. I hope he and Rances fight. It would be a good match-up. I think Barthelemy is too skilled and too rangy for Farenas. I'd like to see if I'm right.
I hope it happens soon! Our Pinoy fighters never ducked! We don't have a PFussy Floyd or Duck Gamboa! Look what happened to Gamboa? I told you that china wear will end soon! Farenas almost did it! Where's Rigo now??? baby sitting?

5'8" Light punching Ushmanee targeted the Body and was successful! Farenas is 5'7" straight left to the solar Flexus and bathelemy's chin will open up.

Prove himself? He fought Gamboa and Uchiyama back to back, giving a good account of himself on both(for the 2 1/2 rounds with Uchi)***8230; do you know what those names mean? Yet he must prove himself before fighting Rances for his belt***8230; smh. If Farenas can land his left he will chin check Rances but that's a big IF. Counters all night won't hinder Farenas attack but it will accumulate damage and lead to a UD loss or possible stoppage. I'm a Farenas fan and I know this will be a difficult fight but I'm on the pinoys corner.
My bad Farenas quit in the corner against uchiyama.

But wtf is up with all these dudes giving props to Farenas? Just because he gave Gamboa a tough fight all of a sudden he is a legit threat? Gamboa fights toe to toe and leaves himself open guys, Farenas is no threat to Rances, the fight will be so easy it will go the distance on points and Rances will outbox him with one hand tied behind his back. this guy is nothing but a brawler with balls. Farenas is nothing dude, the guy is just a barrio kid who is similar to the Filipino version of Ricardo Mayorga without trash talking ability.

I will even go as far as to put 5 billion points that Rances beats Farenas by TKO either Farenas quits on his stool from all the punishment or the ref or doctor or corner throws the towel.

Dude bet your house and car on Farenas, you always make the most bias predictions, you are the filipino version of a race bias Flowmo lol.

I have never seen you make a logical prediction everything is the Filipina will win! and you always make a bold prediction about it, it could be a scrub like Gesta and you will go high on him, didn't you say Gesta will remain undefeated and beat Broner? please stop humiliating yourself, you just go for any filipino boxer, but please its okay to support yoru countryman but be logical about it man and be rational.

Farenas is no world beater he is the equivalent to Bobby Pacquiao, he will have some huge wins against some washed up names and stoppages but he will quit once he takes too much punishment in the ring like Bobby did.

Rances Barthelemy will probably make a voluntary defense of his title first. Farenas vs. Davis was only for the IBF # 2 spot. Farenas must win a final eliminator to become mandatory challenger, unless Barthelemy decides to face him in a voluntary defense, as stated in the article.

Farenas and Uchiyama fought to a Technical Draw.

Barthelemy was the #1 IBF JrLW making Farenas #1 now that Barthelemy has become champion.
