      Such as?

and I do see a Ruslan fight 50-50, so did most of NSB when the threads were made. It would be a war.

Maidana is a special fighter because he is deceptively crafty and has a high ring IQ, combined with a come forward, fearless style, heart, and one punch KO power. The combination of all of that in one package is special. You have crafty fighters and slick boxers, and you have face first brawlers, but rarely do you get a combination of both that can have success at the highest level. Most people with one punch KO power don't have the ring IQ to set traps and make the subtle movements with feet and feints to control the fight much like a master boxer does. It's the composition of Maidana as a fighter that makes him special, his evolution as a fighter. It's really something to watch.

I also think the fight with Ruslan would be a war, but Ruslan is a brawler who doesn't have as many tools in the shed, he relies on chin, power, aggression and heart, Maidana can control his aggression and use it more effectively and has much better defense, on top of that he has the same chin and power or at least comparably, so I don't see how anyone can favor Ruslan, it would be a great fight, and Ruslan can put down anyone with one shot and that's why like Maidana he's exciting to watch everytime, but Maidana isn't as similar to Ruslan or Rios as some people make him out to be, that would be like saying (and people were, sadly) that Broner fights the same as Floyd. They really don't, they have some similar qualities, but Floyd has all the positive qualities of Broner and more, just like Maidana has all the positive qualities of Rulsan and more.

In all seriousness , I was impressed by maidana.

Broner isn't the bum people were callin him.

Maidana ducked his head low when mayweather threw because he knows mayweather likes throwing straight punches as opposed to uppercuts.

And yea dat jab was immense.

But mayweather wasn't as sharp as he normally is
That's because of what Chino was doing!

Mayweather prepares himself very well before a fight. He was sharp; it's just that Maidana dragged him into a brawl early on.

You're the same poster who said Maidana would throw less punches against Mayweather than Canelo threw. Good to see you eating your crow at least.

Maidana can not handle movement..Mayweather did not show movement early which is why the fight was close at half way point..Yet when Maidana slowed and Mayweather started to show the movement,May came overly accurate and Maidana became overly sloppy and inaccurate..

I agree,I still think a fight between Prov and Maidana is 50/50..Not to mention,I'd personally favor Prov..I think he's the more athletic of the two..

Maidana has good power and great heart and will to win..That's what makes him special imo..

Every Floyd fight ever has people saying he'll "Gatti" his opponent. It's as guaranteed as any thread about Al Haymon becoming about Floyd vs. Pac.

Don't forget the people that think he would win every fight by KO if not for his brittle hands .
