My man Marcos "About Sledgehammers" Maidana was throwing jabs like DLH and moving his head like Locche doe against the pound 4 pound king!

    What happened!?

    Come eat dat crow.

Y pegue! Y pegue! Y pegue Chino pegue!!

    Alexander outboxed him doe.

In all seriousness , I was impressed by maidana.

Broner isn't the bum people were callin him.

Maidana ducked his head low when mayweather threw because he knows mayweather likes throwing straight punches as opposed to uppercuts.

And yea dat jab was immense.

But mayweather wasn't as sharp as he normally is

He really impressed me against Broner and Mayweather. I was skeptical about his improvements under Garcia, but they are very clear in those fights.

That was one hell of a performance and yes I was one of those cats who called him that. Surprising enough given it is coming from me I'm actually happy he is getting the rematch.

Him and Danny Garcia are two guys that far exceeded my expectations they have improved a lot from what they where when my original opinion was formed.

What other people fail to realize is that fighters can get better, so they keep bringing up old history like it means something.

Good move by Floyd. The more skilled power punchers/pressure fighters like Porter and Thurman would beat that Floyd Maidana gave hell to.

There were about 3 rounds or so where it felt like he was devolving and showing old traits - I think he started to smother some of his own action after starting off well. Couldn't fault him because he was giving the effort, but on my card it ended up hurting him in some of the closer rounds. Not saying it woudl have given him the win, but it prevented him from landing the sort of punch that changes everything. Gonna be harder to win a decision this time, he'll have to look to clean that up and set up something good instead of simply looking to out hustle.
