The Big Dunce at it again, bump this thread when they announce the piece of **** opponent it is going to be. This card will be absolute **** just like the Garcia and company "showcase." What happened to all the guys saying "Haymon puts his fighters facing each other..." 5 or 6 NAMES on a card and they aren't facing anyone of note, that is ****ing pathetic. I can't wait until Haymon falls flat on his face and leaves boxing just like he got the boot from the entertainment industry.

Bump it if it's good. Or bad. My point is you can't kill a card when you don't know what the card is.

Only a real dunce would criticize it before knowing what it is.

I don't see how his name is significant at this point. He's old and should probably retire.
Whether or not he used to be a good fighter isn't relevant. Nor is the close decision victory against Matthysse 3 or 4 years ago.

Broner vs Judah would be a horrible fight, and nobody is really interested in a Molina rematch for Matthysse.

Such a card is not ok, would be garbage, to be honest.

I'd rather watch Broner vs Guerrero and Matthysse vs Alexander II , that would be a card I 'd be interested in watching, for instance.

Thurman, Khan, Broner, Matthysse, Garcia, Porter, Alexander, Berto, Guerrero, Lopez, Ortiz, Peterson, Maidana... You can make 78 pair combinations out this number of fighters. SHO will never ran out of good fights for the next ten years. Yet.....

All these guys are products of HBO funding via Haymon match-making. HBO didn't even benefit from it. Showtime didn't have to spend a dime building them up. All SHO had to do is make them fight each other. But it's not happening.

Of the fighters you listed how many have fought each other to date?

Someone is saying they'd be happy wit broner v judah. Lol. When was the last time Judah beat a top 10 fighter, 10 yes ago? Thurman v Julio diaz, broner v Carlos molina, Garcia v stalker ( do I have the name right), Peterson v santana, etc.
Of course people are angry bf we hear the match ups be we already know a number of good fights could be made involving matthyse, garcia, peterson, and broner but NONE of em are fighting each other even though all 4 have scheduled fights within past week or so.
It's beyond egregious. Most boxing fans can only speak wit their wallets. If you don't think a fight is the fight that should be made, don't watch it, don't purchase it on ppv. If fans continue to watch and order fights no matter what garbage is put out, the promoters and managers have no need to actually make the good fights. We should be getting garcia v peterson and Matthuse v broner. I don't get how you could not be pissed about the current situation or argue that we shouldn't complain be we don't know the card. As pointed out below, we already know the fight we should be seeing isn't getting made
