Comments Thread For: Matthysse To Return on September 6, Not With Broner

MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Mario Arano, manager and Argentine promoter of dangerous junior welterweight ****er Lucas Matthysse (35-3, 33KOs), said he was given a return date of September 6th for his fighter.

Recently, Adrien Broner (28-1, 22KOs) also stated, on the social networks, that he plans to return on September 6th.

Arano said he was told that Broner and Matthysse will both fight on the same card, but in separate bouts. He tells BoxingScene "he doesn't want to fight Lucas."

        So they're claiming Broner ducked.

If this is another "setup on the same card" for a fight that should be happening right now like Garcia and PEDerson, I'm going to be pissed. These aren't superfights. Putting them on the same card isn't going to build them up to one.

I told you people. These Haymon-protected fighters will keep on avoiding each other. They will keep fighting TBAs and TBDs. And Espinoza is okay with this. He'll proudly tweet, "Broner and Matthysse ring return in Sept. Opponents to be announced (TBA), to be decided (TBD)." This guy is a joke.

                Fans need to do something.

Hell yes! Al Haymon saved boxing!

Of coarse not with Broner. U think haymon is gonna risk his money for u boxing fans? Hell no he's gonna try to milk broner for all the cheap money he has left in him. He knows what Lucas would do to Broner.
