Comments Thread For: Chisora's Coach: If Fury Wins, It's Best I Sack Myself!

Of the four losses that soil European heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora’s 24 fight ring slate, none grate more with Team Del Boy than the concession of his British and Commonwealth titles to Tyson Fury at Wembley Arena three years back.

That night the man from Finchley turned up for duty sporting a soft midriff and even softer psyche and, despite sporadic successes, he was comprehensively schooled over 12 rounds.

All concerned concede that, that shambolic evening, it was an imposter of the rumbling, rugged ring warrior who’d gone to war 14 times before, and in nine starts since. [Click Here To Read More]

I like both fighters, but I for this one I'm going with Chisora. Seems to be far more focused and up for it this time.

Hope for a good fight either way. Can see Fury being dropped again...he isn't the steadiest on his legs

Fury is going to jab him to bits. Unless one of Dereck's wild overhand rights connects, he's getting shut out.

What Dereck needs to realise is that Fury was also out of shape when they first met, and he has also improved considerably. Dereck is in trouble. He is getting smashed to bits within 6 rounds.

This is a load of crap Fury was out of shape as well as Chisora in the last fight, I am sorry but there is no way chisora wins, Have you guys seen the shape Furys in for this fight ? the guy is ripped up, Chisora's chin since the David Haye fight is massively questionable and his opponents have been soft, He's had questionable stoppage wins but hey you guys keep believing what you want to believe doesn't stop the fact that Chisoras getting mangled up come fight night.

Surely Charles knows that Fury was also out of shape for their first fight? He is also the younger man and has matured physically since then.
Chisora has fought higher ranked opponents, but didn't beat any of them. Fury's ko victory over Cunningham is a better win than any on Del Boy's record. Yeah, Cunningham is a blown-up cruiserweight, but so is David Haye, and look what he did to Derek.
I was impressed with both guys against Kevin Johnson, for different reasons. Fury, because he proved he can concentrate and box behind his jab for 12 rounds when he wants to. Del Boy, because he dropped the turtle, which takes some doing. He still took more punches from Johnson in one round than Fury took in 12 though.
                    Fury to win on points.
