I blame Cotto for that. I know why he did it...Money. Still looking to beat a smaller guy, and got dissed. Should've stayed at 154 and fought Sergio, Canelo, Trout, etc.

Andrade- Excellent fighter good credentials. Posses a very dangerous threat to Pac. Boxing Style, Power, Youth, Reach, Height & Size.

However, Algieri's come from behind win to Ruslan makes him hot & talk of the town lately. The guy will not be around forever though he already mentioned that he didnt plan to stay in boxing for too long, so why not give him a chance to crack at pac
Algeri is the talk of what town? I'm more impressed with Crawford beating Gamboa than Algeri beating (I should say winning, because Ruslan did all the beating) Provodnikov. How did Algeri get a shot at the champ anyway? Who did he beat to get a shot at Ruslan?

      • surely this is some kind of joke.

maybe they're releasing this information to gauge algieri's popularity.

we have to take a stand for ppv fights, dawgs. this can't happen. we can't get used to paying $70 for fights with stars against opponents like this.

Macau casino is paying Top Rank a nice on-site fee just to host the match. Most likely in the millions. Asian gamblers spend a lot of money. There's a lot of money to be made, not just American PPV.
There has to be something going on for Arum to think this will be profitable. Not to mention he can pay Algieri peanuts. Up until last month nobody even knew who he was and even today people still dont know who he is.

I dont think it will be easy. I just dont feel that it is a ppv worthy fight. Regular HBO yes.

He takes it there because it would bomb in Vegas.

                    • Manny's a superstar, so this would be worse than the Salk V Garcia fight.
