You are right. He may not have a PPV name But whoelse is in top contender aside from Marquez? Garcia, Khan, Mattysse are ok but they are in different ship (Haymon/Arum). I think right now, Algeiri is hot so they want to capitilize that.

Pac vs Algieri at 140 then Pac vs Cotto next year for the MW title. I see another FOTD award.

That time my friend, Pac is the P4P #1 best fighter in the planet. So why let himself to be dictated by other boxer? well, maybe we have a different perspective in that situation. But right now, I dont care about previous negotiations, who's fault or what. What I care most is for them to fight now or maybe next year. I think you like to see that fight too. And now that Pac said on national TV that his line is open 24/7 for Floyd. The ball is now in the hand of floyd. I believed, everything can be arrange and find ways to make that fight happened.
Pac said his line is open as if Floyd hasn't called that line before. He's been there, done that.

              Non- Haymon options?

              Luis Abregu
              Chris Algieri
              Mike Alvarado
              Jesse Vargas
              Ruslan Provodnikov
              Mauricio Herrera
              Viktor Postol
              Kell Brook (if he wins)

              Take your pick.

He didnt desrved to a title fight w/ Cotto since he didnt fought in the JMW regularly. Garcia has a little bit better that time due to his consecutives above par performances against quality opponents and besides, Khan outboxed Maidana & Garcia SMASHED Khan. So who's most deserving that time?
I still say Maidana because Maidana took a title from a Welterweight (Broner) and was competing at Welterweight. Khan beat Maidana at Jr. Welterweight, and Garcia beat Khan at Jr. welterweight. Floyd is the Welterweight champ, so he should've chosen the welterweight. Khan even turned down a match against a Welterweight title holder (Alexander) in pursuit of Floyd. That was wrong. Now after beating Collazo (and Alexander losing to Porter), Khan is WBC #1 WW contender. Now he can get a crack at Pacquiao or Mayweather.

De La Hoya (and of course Floyd too) wanted that fight to make money. I don't remember if there were other champs in his division that he didn't fight. I just think it's wrong for people to be overlooked so the champ can fight a guy who hasn't competed in the division. For example, Cotto just took the MW belt at a catch-weight. Now Arum is trying to match Cotto with Bradley. I don't think it's respectful to the other MW title holders and #1 contenders for Cotto to fight a guy 2 weight classes lower, and have the belt on the line. If he's not gonna defend the MW title, give up the strap.

Abregu- Descent fighter but his last wins are against those no name fighters, And besides, he lost to Bradley that Pac beat 2x (atleast in my eyes)

Andrade- Excellent fighter good credentials. Posses a very dangerous threat to Pac. Boxing Style, Power, Youth, Reach, Height & Size.

However, Algieri's come from behind win to Ruslan makes him hot & talk of the town lately. The guy will not be around forever though he already mentioned that he didnt plan to stay in boxing for too long, so why not give him a chance to crack at pac
