If you're a runner and you choose a pair of nike running shoes but your opponent feels that you'll have an advantage and demands you wear a pair of nike basketball sneakers instead. Is that fine because they're both Nike?

The only advantage any athlete should have on his opponent is skill...
This mentality opens up the possibility for Floyd to pick Maidana's robe, trunks, shoes, socks, low-blow protector, no eye contacts, gauze weight and style.

Maidana must also be forced to use xylocaine.

      Level playing field my ass.

Was DLH a coward for forcing Floyd to wear some bigass 10oz heavyweight Reyes gloves? Was Cotto a coward forcing Floyd to wear 10oz gloves instead of 8s when they fought? I'm curious how your mind thinks on that.

This is news to me. Are you telling me that Cotto dictated to Floyd which gloves he had to wear?

Both of them didn't force Floyd at the last minute like what Floyd did so bad comparison.

Also, the blue gloves Maidana wanted weren't approved because he didn't get the custom color approved by the commission beforehand. Since Mayweather was complaining they used that excuse to not approve them. Had nothing to do with padding.
Not sure how All Access edited it. But what they showed had Floyd taking control of Ellerbe and Garcia's debate. He tried the powder blue gloves Maidana wanted to wear and said, "f.uck no." Citing that he could feel his knuckles through the padding.

Off the top of my head I think dude is twisting facts. Floyd requested 8 oz gloves for the Cotto fight...And I'm pretty sure 154 pound and above is supposed use 10 oz gloves. I don't remember what size they ended up fighting in, but it was Floyd who requested smaller gloves

What f.uckin' difference does it make? He didn't get to wear what he wanted.

What about Ruiz forcing Roy Jones to change the gloves he had custom made to fit his hands and match his outfit? Was that a coward move, or just a defending champion flexing his muscle?

I ain't twisting ****. Cotto as the defending champion flexed his muscle on the glove size.
