I hope to god Crawford isnt the next Ward.

Top super middles don't want to fight Ward (they can't beat him and can make as much if not more fighting each other instead) and Crawford looked to have a similar problem looming prior to Gamboa. Gamboa came to win, so the fight was exciting and Crawford - who has always been class but a tad too calculating for most fans' tastes - got to look exciting with it. It might not make him a cash cow but fans now know Crawford can provide thrills as well, and doesn't just have the ability to put on a boxing clinic, and that makes him a marketable commodity. I like Ray Beltran. He got jobbed in Scotland. But Crawford takes his ears off.

Crawford is gonna clean the lightweight division out. Beltran will be toughest challenge after than no one else in division can beat him....especially over rated wax chump Figueroa
