Ray Beltran deserves this title shot. It should be a good fight. The atmosphere in Omaha was great for Crawford vs. Gamboa, the people over there deserve these kind of fights.

However, I hope the Nebraska State Athletic Commission won't forget to do pre/post-fight drug tests this time.

Good fight let's see Crawford test his skills against somebody his own size instead of a blown up featherweight.

Its funny how people call gamboa a 126 pounder. He aint fought at fw for close to 3 years. He cant make 26 unless he cuts his leg off.

This kid continues to impress me. Who can argue with a champion that wants to put his belt on the line against the best possible opponents? And I like his stay busy attitude.

I also like the move to go back to Omaha for this one. If anything, it's bringing exposure to a new fan base. More fans means more fights and that's never a bad thing.

            Sheesh.
Well if it's not nationality then what exactly is your problem with Crawford building a fan base in Omaha? It's a good thing for the sport if 10,000+ people are willing to pay to see him.

Crawford is a fool if he doesn't move up.

No disrespect, but they had to discount the seat prices to fill the arena. How long will Crawford give up cheap seats just to give Omaha a little exposure. He has the talent to star in Vegas, New York, Scotland, he'll follow the money. I see him going to China even, if he gets past Beltran.

Yeah, but he's featherweight short, he needs his legs. He let the zero and the headlines go to his waist. Too heavy, too long, fancy cars, nice clothes. He wasn't carefull with his weight, I bet he wasn't careful with his money. He has to do something, 130 is talent rich, 126 will drain him. He just got beat out of the lightweights. He's trapped between a rock and a hard place
