This boxer trainer breaks down the situation.

The trainer in the video makes a lot of sense. I liked the Paulie Malignaggi reference lol

Problem with your logic is your premise is false

The custom pair were brand new gloves. Still sealed up and everything delivered by an Everlast rep. There's no way in hell Maidana's team could have tampered with them unless they had help from Everlast. And do you honestly think they would put their reputation on the line for that?

Did the NSAC decline the first pair of gloves, yes or no?

Yes. A brand new pair of gloves that were never touched by Maidana's team were denied. What's your point?

Only thing different about them was the argentinian color paint job. You idiots see floyd on all acess say "Deez mafu*ckas gots no padding, hell naw" and believe it. So how come lil floyd wouldnt let maidana fight in the red everlast mx? or cleto reyes? lol.

            health comes first.

Serious consequences could have been met if team Maidana did intend to use gloves with no padding in them. Have they done something like this before?
the pay-off for the switching of gloves should be the object of investigation here...

specially so when the self-proclaimed tbe is at the center stage...

this is shamelessly a cowardly thing to do...dangle your money for advantages...

The gloves were not approved because the custom color was not approve beforehand. Not because of padding distribution you ****ing idiot.

The only difference between the red and blue mx everlast gloves is that the colours are different, the everlast rep who was present said that.

The everlast mx gloves appear wrinkly, try googling some images of them.

The only reason the commission said no to the gloves was to keep the man paying them happy.

I have no idea what is wrong with these floyd fanboys, they are delusional.

There should be, but for real.

The glove issue has been blown out of proportion.

Floyd is a huge primadonna, diva. Nothing new there.

Yes, there is a slight difference in weight distribution between "puncher" gloves and "boxer" gloves but it's nothing big in terms of overall performance.

While an investigation of Floyd's private area would have been necessary after all the low blows Maidana threw. Add the rabbit punching, the knee, the shoving Floyd out of the ropes and it's kind of self explanatory.
