The gloves has the required padding. Thats why their was no investigation, the reason NSAC denied those gloves were not on any illegal basis but more to pacify the situation. They approved the exact same gloves just the red ones, Everlast will not put their company on the line for Maidana. Use your logic people.

The first pair of gloves team Maidana intended to use in the Mayweather fight were DECLINED by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. They seemingly had the majority of the padding ripped out. This is grounds for an investigation in my opinion, but was one ever conducted? Serious consequences could have been met if team Maidana did intend to use gloves with no padding in them. Have they done something like this before?

Yes, there is a slight difference in weight distribution between "puncher" gloves and "boxer" gloves but it's nothing big in terms of overall performance.
