I think this article is great, even if there is some speculation involved. At this point what else can we do but speculate? Thanks to Mr. Hauser we now have a little more insight into the matter. Oh, so Haymon and Schaeffer were trying to buy out Oscar? Hm. Makes sense now. Anyone calling this trash journalism should try reading the bias nut-huggery they publish on floyd-hype.com, then you will realize that this article is a breathe of fresh air.

i think we would be shaken to our cores if we really knew who al haymon is and his ultimate plan.

i'm very scared just not for boxing but the world. i think haymon is part of a more sinister elite and hidden group. a group that controls everything behind the scenes.

and that this sinister group is moving the pieces to an ultimate end goal. an end goal that doesn't include any of us.

scary times we live in but trust in the Lord.

I am 100% supportive of Haymon and his duties. His fighters respect him and show him nothing but love. They have nothing bad to say about him, nor the record purses he's able to make for his fighters. I don't understand why the fighters like him, yet the fans don't. Well, I do have an idea but it's not something your average casual fan would like to admit.

Except for the select few who already established themselves, "rising stars" under Haymon are in for a rude awakening when they face a real test.

Prime example: Andre Berto (went tooth and nail, and lost to "No Mas" Ortiz)

Runner up: Adrian Broner (his rising star went over the hill against Maidana)

Most recent: Gary Russell Jr (tried for world title against 1-1 fighter and lost)

In the hunt: Danny Garcia (who's he fighting next? gotta stick to the formula)

How could you support that??

Rod "Savage" Salka- 19-3 (3 KOs). This will be a test to see if fans will tune in to watch. Herrera actually whipped Danny in his "homecoming" match, though Garcia got the gift decision.

If Haymon does the same thing they do- which is math their fighters against fighters from other promoters, I have no problem and you will not see me complaining.

If Haymon does what Haymons been doing- not giving us a single fight with other promoters fighters who actually no how to fight.... Everyone will have a problem.


K2, main events, and even Don Freakin king have and do match their fighters against fighters from other promoters. Golovkin-Geale. Stevens-Golovkin. Lebedev-jones. Crawfor-Gamboa. Etc. These promoters/fighters fighting good out of house fighters literally happens every month.

It has not happened a SINGLE time with Haymon yet. There have been 3 examples posted in this thread. Garcia-Matthysee, Broner-Maidaina and Stiverne-Arreola. The first two were all Haymon fighters. The last one was mandated by the WBC. Actually the only one I can think of is Rodriguez-Ward....

It is what if is.... If the latter continues to happen. No true boxing fan should support that.

About the Garcia and Maidana fights... neither one of them were supposed to win. Haymon putting on those fights will not happen again, or very, very rarely.

Haymon is the same guy who gave us Andre Berto, he was able to get Davis to agree to 1 million dollar minimum paydays for Berto against bums.

And Davis has been gone from HBO since June 2013, not long after Floyd left.
