I also feel blessed for being American now. I agree with Lara. Us is a great land of opportunities and freedom. I also hope he is training now jaja

I believe that boxers truly don't train properly for fights. I always thought that was a weakness of Mayweather. Floyd is so arrogant he doesn't study fighters but he makes adjustments in the ring. Generally, Floyd is great enough to get away with that. Lara should focused on his training forget about the 4th of July. You should be watching film of Canelo and training all day, every day until the week of the fight.

So he can't take 30 seconds out of his day to say how appreciative he is to be an American? Smh.

How is one supposed to feel? Lara's an American citizen now, so he's American. All American citizens are American. Of course, many people rightfully relate to their roots; but it's just as cool to embrace your new home.

Wrong. If you take what Floyd says at face value then I can see how you might think that but Floyd studies all of his opponents. He referenced one of guerreros fights earlier in his career and said he thought Guerrero lost. He does study his opponents he just didn't admit it. But if you pay attention in some of his interviews he'll drop bits of info like that which shows that he does study his opponents and watches a lot of boxing too.

I never believed Floyd doesn't study his opponents. Not sure who could, although Floyd is an idiot in real life, when it comes to boxing he is too smart to not study his opponent
