The problem is that this is boxing and any showcase fight can turn in to a war or an upset. Then the press call it a fight of the year candidate, while it was bad matchmaking and a fighter getting exposed against a class C fighter. Berto, Broner, Russell it is not a coincidence it is Al Haymon modus operandi.
Anyone who follows boxing knows this.

Card sucks. I hate how De La Hoya talked about making the best fights and then goes and promotes this. Really hope it's not a sign of things to come...

I actually don't mind Garcia fighting Salka considering the issues he had with a boxer like Herrera. Salka is a boxer and Garcia needs to hone his craft against guys who can box.

Even being champion at 140 does anyone think Garcia is a complete fighter than needs no work or improvement?

I get why people don't like the fight and the card overall as it is pretty soft, but it still interests me to see how Garcia fairs against another guy who boxes as opposed to letting him get in left hooks. If Garcia can land his left hook at will this fight is really meaningless but I need to see that first to know.

Oscar your promise was: "Make the fights the fans wants to see, the best fighting the best" and this is what you come up with,do not tell me some bull**** underdog story. Oscar you should go get some help and Al Haymon you are a chicken, keep hiding.

Haymon fighters are huge jokes. Espinoza needs to do something like banning these clowns from appearing in Showtime fights.

I don't mind cards where you have 3 big names fighting up and coming fighters because you're getting 3 fights rather than one fight. But these opponents are just ridiculous. I mean Danny Garcia just fought a journeyman (and lost). Instead of trying to fighting the rematch or trying to fight Manny Pacquiao he fights a low-ranked journeyman with 3 KOs.

This is another Al Haymon "stacked" card lol. This is the reason HBO complained.

If Golovking has so much power and can't get a good fight at 160 why not go to 168? He makes junior middleweights come up to fight him. He needs to stop being a *****.

im just glad we live in a time period where fans have a forum to voice their opinion and when we see something shady going on we can let our opinion be heard.

stop insulting the fans oscar with this weak ass explanation.

his spin doctoring to sell this fight is gayer than his gay sex pics.

GTFO oscar and take the ***** out of your arse.
