Sadly Oscar forgot that once he got rid of schaeffer he had to be able to get opponents for his fighters. I think he realizes now that you actually running a promotional company takes more than showing up for interviews.

They're making terrible Al Haymon mismatches/cherry pick showcase fights and trying to give themselves credit as if they're giving up and coming prospects the chance to shine. Watch Rob Salty win 4 rounds and post fight we'll here "we told ya so!"


Rod Salami and whoever Peterson is fighting are no Chris Algieri, Ruslan Provodnikov, or Terrance Crawford.

If there's any group of fans who's all for giving untapped talent (^^lile those fighters at the time) a chance, it's NSB.

This isn't one of those times. Maybe they just don't feel Danny Garcia is any good or feel confident in him? If that's the case the he needs to vacate his titles and not hold them hostage. Rob Sana is a hostage fight.

The 8/16 card is far better than the 8/9 one. Porter/Brook and Dirrell/Bika II are actually good fights and we already know to expect fireworks at the Stubhub Arena.

I would think I would be enraged at this BS coming from them, but all I can do is chuckle and shake my head.

This is how far their ego's have taken them, they went from the idea of putting together fights the fans want, and morphed it into them telling us what we should want and that "everything is going to be OK, this just might work out".

Why are people trying to pin this on Haymon? The only thing that has changed since last year (which Showtime was off-the-chain) is Oscar took over. Anyway, did you here that Ellerbe applied for a promoter's license in New York?

They actually have a point with the under dogs coming up big but nobody is trying to hear that. Nobody knew who the **** Sharrod Ralka was until he got announced as Danny's opponent.

That is a really, really bad defense. Jacobs/Fletcher is fine, but Peterson/Santana is lame and Garcia/Salka is a disgrace. Besides, Herrera was at least considered a top 10 JWW and Molina was a big punching top 10 LW, even if they were heavy underdogs going in. Salka is much, much worse than that, and if Danny struggles, he will deserve all the criticism that comes his way.
